Yesterday

She's trying to avoid the inevitable. The new Congress will bring her in as a witness less than a year from now in front of a much more hostile group than if she goes in front of a Republican controlled hearing, now.
This is a move that only benefits the Felon, temporarily, but will do nothing for her. IMHO.
