He stumbled into the presidency. His brand appealed to just enough people, at just the right time to get him elected and stoke his ego. His moment is passing. He knows it. The BS about Heaven and God is an admission that he knows it. His obsession with putting his name on everything is an admission that he knows it. The whole East Wing project is an admission that he knows it. His campaign for the Nobel is an admission that he knows it. He is trying not to be relegated to the trash heap of history. It’s gonna happen. I do wonder if they will ever actually build the “library” or take the money and run. I think it is an even bet right now.
