That the reforms the Democrats are trying to get are toothless and will do absolutely nothing to create accountability.
Making it "accountable" like regular police is not the flex they think it is and to be honest cones across a little tone deaf.
Do you know that American police kill people at a rate of 33.1 per capital (per 10 million). Almost double that of the next wealthy, industrialized nation, being Canada at 18.6 and the next after that is 12.54 in India.

I mean Alex Pretti those incident all the time in regular police and nothing ever happens to anyone.
So pretending there concessions is going to be bring about accountability is laughable. It will literally change nothing.

Republicans/DHS are holding out but it's a game. They will look like heroes for accountability but nothing that Democrats are demanding will move the accountability needle a single millimeter.

Abolish ice.
