The F-35 has no peer in the world right now. It has had teething problems for sure, because it introduces a LOT of firsts. I remember when people were really down on the F/A-18 when it came out in the 80's. It had a lot of teething problems too. It has now become one of our longest serving and most reliable aircraft.

OTOH, never buy a radar from Northrup.
