Yesterday

The US military and the industrial complex behind it never got the 'stand down' order after WW2.

It's a worry though, when people in the US bleat about the price of eggs and fuel, when the bigger tragedy perpetuated by the US is happening overseas.
Death of countless civilians, destruction of houses, infrastructure - just gets a glancing and temporary look of concern.
