Claims against Wesley Dingus came from teen who had been staying at his residence and hid camera in bedroom

According to investigators, the teen had hidden a small camera in a bedroom in the home. On 13 January, she reportedly received multiple motion alerts indicating recordings had been captured. Deputies say the footage showed Dingus smelling at least four pairs of her underwear “for several seconds” and also “touching his groin area over his clothes”.

Richland county children’s services passed the report along to law enforcement the same day the alleged incident occurred, and a deputy later interviewed the girl at her school.


A deputy later contacted Dingus and arranged a meeting, but the conversation did not happen after his attorney advised canceling it, local news outlet WKYC reported. Authorities arrested Dingus nearly a month later, an action that took place on 13 February.

Dingus appeared in court on Thursday and pleaded not guilty. He was released after posting 10% of a $10,000 bond. Judge Michael Kemerer required him to wear a GPS monitor and barred him from contacting the accuser...............

BREAKING: ANOTHER ONE! Republican mayor Wesley Dingus gets arrested sniffing teen girls’ panties!

Ah, the smell of shame. Butler, Ohio’s Mayor Wesley Dingus (yes, that’s his real name), a member of the “traditional values” Republican Party, faces two counts of voyeurism after a teenage relative in his care caught him on hidden camera.

The girl, suspicious of his creepy behavior, set up a video camera in her bedroom while she was living under his care. The footage allegedly shows Dingus entering her room twice in January 2026: picking up her worn underwear, smelling it for several seconds, and touching his groin area over his clothes.

He pleaded not guilty Thursday in Mansfield Municipal Court; bond was set at $10,000.

And this isn’t the mayor’s first brush with the law. He’s already out on bond for felony charges from July 2025, for allegedly running over a man wanted for parole violation.

Yet the same guy who lectures on morality and “protecting children” was allegedly invading a minor’s privacy for sexual gratification.

MAGA loves to scream about “family values” and “protecting kids,” but when one of their small-town mayors gets caught red-handed sniffing a teen’s underwear, the outrage is crickets from the usual crowd.

Dingus ran on conservative principles, won in 2022, and now stands exposed as a perv who allegedly preyed on a vulnerable girl in his own home. This is the real face of the “moral majority” crowd: preaching purity while practicing perversion.

If this kind of disgusting hypocrisy from a MAGA mayor makes you furious, like and share to call it out. The party of “family values” strikes again.
