People love the things we say we are for. They don't really hate Dems, they just pity us for being so quick to capitulate. We are the definition of "snatching defeat from the jaws of victory", time and time again.

That's how we can poll at 70% on the issues, yet have only 25% willing to identify as Democrats. Every time one of these spineless reps pulls a trick like this, we lose another 100,000 possible supporters.
