Foreign investments in Russia at this point are valued at zero. That could happen in Venezuela too. No guarantee lobbying for laws will work, no guarantee assets won't get nationalized. The oil is said to be thick and expensive to refine. Is it all to establish a beachhead to takeover all of South America? Trump's Folly in my view.
