I maintain that technology could be a wonderful gift to mankind - healthcare, rehabilitation, etc. I just don't think it WILL be. Instead, it will designed and created with the worst of humanity already inbred in it. War, violence, civil unrest. It would have to evolve to outpace man before it could serve a decent place in society. And we can't even get our own flesh and blood to evolve to that point right now!
