I watched General Hospital for a long time. The 80s were by far the best years of that show, and though Geary's character, "Luke," and Luke's relationship with Laura were controversial, it was undeniable what a fabulous actor Tony was and that he and Genie Francis had a fascinating on screen chemistry.

This is hard especially so soon after Tristan Rogers', Denise Alexander's and Leslie Charlson's death. So many of the actors who were some of the best the show had to offer are gone now.

I remember being on campus the day the episode aired where Laura returned to Port Charles, after everyone mistakenly believed she was dead when instead she'd been held captive by the Cassadines. When Luke finally saw her, you could hear cheers coming from every dorm on campus, the show was that popular!
