That totally forget the veterans who served at other times. Yes, hundreds of thousands between the Korean War and Vietnam, and between Vietnam and the Gulf War. They served in peace and in war- fighting in places like Panama, and Grenada, and literally dozens of other places.

Just because there wasn’t a huge battle is no reason to refuse to acknowledge veterans from other periods.
