I spent a considerable amount of free time in my younger days adapting equipment + designing
software to be used in "adaptive environments" so low / no vision folks could do remarkable jobs
(often for federal, state + local governments)... so wheelchair bound folks could function impressively
in their workplace... too many instances to mention... but in every instance -- the time spent +
modifications made had far-reaching positive results that were paid forward each + every day...

As you note, "The loon GOP doesn't give a damn"...
