Mine collapse during the Bush II years. Only the feds could provide the people and equipment to get them out. (They did.)

The irony was Republicans were tying to kill that agency off. Leaving miners on their own. A fact not lost on miners.

Because of those “burdensome rules and regulations” miners were saved.

And then the miners voted Republican.

Sow; reap mofo’s! Cuz’ the next mine collapse is going to be an eye-opener!
