likely see the price of imported goods and autos increase in the next few weeks/months.

Not only will prices for ta riffed goods increase but for goods and services in general - when one segment of our society it gives a green light for everyone to do the same - we saw this during covid.

It is really a dumb idea, countries will not just sit idly by but will put tariffs on our exports as well. Using tariffs as economic warfare can sometimes lead to physical conflict - both domestic and internationally.
