And that poll is a week old.
If he keeps this up, he's going below 40% approval by May 1st. He already has the record for lowest approval rating for a 4 year term, at 41.1%.

I have no doubt he'll set a new record and become the first President to have an overall approval rating in the mid-30's. Even his base will show strong erosion as they experience the combination of inflation and recession, plus massive damage to all the services they get, but never appreciated until Trump destroyed them.

It's a hard lesson to learn, but actions have consequences.
