WASHINGTON, D.C. U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) introduced a bill Monday that would limit the power of judicial rulings, pushing back on court orders that have stymied the Trump administration's agenda.
The bill would limit judicial rulings to only the parties involved in the lawsuit, meaning the judge's order would not apply to those in similar situations if they didn't personally file litigation themselves.
If passed, it would likely mean the end of universal injunctions. Judges have used universal injunctions to block many of Trump's policies nationwide after finding the president's orders to be unconstitutional or unlawful.
The measure would instead require litigants to pursue class action lawsuits. Grassley says the bill would "clarify" the constitutional role of the judicial branch.

EVERY reference to ASSley should include - "age 91" like they would often when writing about any Democrat over 80.
And regarding this -
Judges have used universal injunctions to block many of Trump's policies nationwide
And districts in the 5th Circuit "
have used universal injunctions to block many of Biden's policies nationwide" (specifically their "go-to judge" - Matthew Kacsmaryk). This is why this isn't going anywhere (and especially with them illegally moving immigrants to states within the 5th District and attempting to file suit there for some of the college students they want to detain and deport who are NOT located in any of those 5th Circuit states).
