The whole concept of Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) is to aggregate intel through public info like news sources. SSA, for example, searches far and wide to see when a social security recipient has died. Some retirees are not in the US, so it's not readily available through the forms that hospitals, morgues, and funeral homes submit.

But the super genius meritocracy knows better because of the decades of experience these 19 year old nitwits bring.
