When your whole schtick is
“the forgotten man, those other people are the reason you are being left behind, the deep state, elites”, etc, etc,. Having the world’s richest man as the figure head, is not a good look”.

Not sure why they thought he was just going to buy a presidency then go quietly.

I’m interested to see how this plays out for the rest of the party. They are all salivating for Eloon’s cash, but they need MAGA to win. If A faction of MAGA is against Eloon, that might spell trouble.
