Smart light bulbs? Smart washing machines?
Basically, the entire house hooked up to smart devices?
Didn't anybody watch Mr Robot? 
I used to pet sit for a lot of people who had Alexa. That thing drove me nuts. Had to watch what you said around it, or it would be adding to the shopping list of the person whose home I was in.
(I did enjoy asking it stupid questions.)
