(18,339 posts)45. Not really my point, but how does one fly drones onto restricted air space?
And how can one get close enough to a US Air Force base to do such a thing and then get away, undetected?
My point is that would be really hard to do, seeing how the Air Force has top sentries, binoculars, sensors etc. etc. etc.

What they have said is that the drones are not being launched from foreign craft....

One theory is it's a company that makes large drones and is testing them out.

I didn't hear how close they were. The FAA rule years ago was 5 miles or 5 nautical miles one or the other...
