My older cousin by about 10 yrs (I'm 71) got it, but was Very Lucky, a full recovery. She did get that sometimes ?partial rebound [called PPS; post-polio syndrome] about ?30-40 yrs later, and luckily recovered from that, too.

Just horrific, trying to do that! 🤬
