4. I had heard of that loophole.

We had planned to take a short trip over to Morocco and come back in, but then found that they had closed the loophole. The same thing is true in Mexico. You just have to cross the border then come back in and everything is fine.

Like most immigration policies, this just doesn't make sense. Why would they insist I leave? I will be living there for four months, paying rent, buying petrol, etc. It just makes no sense to me.
