years ago. Lack of high-speed internet ensures that rural counties will remain poor and somewhat backwards. My daughter would love to bring her high paying job back to our county, (her agency allows work from home) but can not because of the lack of broadband. Satellite is not an answer because it is sketchy during rainstorms; I have to assume that Starlink would also suffer. I am limited to DSL and it fails in rainstorms as well. It rained almost every day in June....
