4. Hmmm...Will this marriage last?

I hope it for him but...really it is highly uncertain. Computers become obsolete very quickly

Well, at least, this guy is not dangerous. He is what we call in French : "un doux dingue"

I would also say : il a une araignée au plafond . Literally it means "he have a spider on the ceiling" but I think the idiomatic expression is "he have bats in the belfry" " he have a geranium in the cranium" "he is as nutty as a fruitcake". Maybe there is other expressions.
