14. To anyone considering reading, or re-reading, The Power Broker:

First of all, do it. Read it. Get that book and read it. It is so good.

Secondly, I cannot recommend highly enough The Power Broker book club series of episodes by the "99% Invisible" podcast. It was one episode a month for a year plus a couple extra, and it is all collected here:

The host, Roman Mars, was joined by Elliott Kalan, former head writer of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, and each episode they went over a set portion of the book and then interviewed a relevant person. The guests included Rep AOC, Sec Pete Buttigieg, Conan O'Brien, Jamelle Bouie, and the man himself Robert Caro, amongst others. It is really worth the time to listen (a judgement I do not make lightly).
