When bodycam footage from a February city council meeting in Claremore, Oklahoma, surfaced online, it didn't show a brawl or a threat. It showed a man asking if he could hand over documents. Then an officer's voice, flat and final: "Arrest him." Darren Blanchard had committed the offense of speaking slightly past a three-minute public-comment timer — at a meeting about a 270-to-300-acre data center campus proposed for his community.
