You asked a rhetorical question about whether Hormuz was open and so I was forced to answer it.

In my post I even stated that an Exxon Mobil executive stated that if Hormuz wasn't open by the 4th of July that Brent crude would skyrocket.

That statement should have given you a clue as to whether Hormuz was open or not.
