5. A great issue and one that doesn't get much attention...

It would be interesting to know how many politicians don’t leave DC after they no longer serve in Congress and end up on the Dc gravy train.

I’m from Arkansas. I was just thinking about three Senators the voters have voted out in recent memory—Blanche Lincoln, Mark Pryor and Tim Hutchinson. All three were back-benchers with short, unremarkable Senatorial careers. I just Googled all three. Guess where they work and live? Yep. DC.

That type of thing may not be corruption per se, but it certainly is “swampy.”
