And I'm with you on your point about Argentina's copious, and very diverse, wave of European immigration in the 1880-1950 era.
Over 6 million in all - in a country with only 2 million people in 1880.
As I once pointed out to another poster, that would be like having China's entire population move to the U.S. between now and 2100.
Suffice it to say - by 2100, U.S. culture would look very different. And that's just what happened down there.
