thyroid replacement therapy in most instances required following surgical removal, especially if the entire thyroid is removed; Radiation treatment afterwards if stage and exact type of cancer warrants. But very good prognosis following-- especially for those caught fairly early (which I suspect she has).

While I dislike her intensely, I don't wish cancer on anyone. But in this case, highly treatable.
