28. A few years back, my daughter and I were in Hawaii looking for an undeserted beach area to have a dip and a picnic.

Wednesday

We parked, got out of the car and headed toward a stretch of beach. Several people pointed to an animal on the beach and warned us away. We took some pics, wandered further down the beach, had our lunch and left. When we told others about the event we were told what a rare animal we had seen. All the people in the area (there were not many) were extremely respectful.
