19. Did Kraznov really *think* he could achieve regime change in Iran, then control their oil?

I can't get inside the head of this pathological liar. If he believes what he says, he's delusional. Woefully ignorant, he surrounds himself with sycophants who won't contradict him when he's wrong. Career experts in the government either keep silent, or lose their job.

Kraznov is at least subconsciously aware of his approaching mortality. I think this, and the bottomless pit of his ego, is why he's building monuments to himself. He wants to leave his mark on as much as he can, including countries like Venezuela, Cuba, and Iran.

He is also a malignant narcissist and a bully drunk with power. To have the US military at his command without using it is against his nature -- as is consultation and careful analysis. Psychological need and greed drive his actions, with extreme hubris. He doesn't *think* any consequences will fall on him, and doesn't care about anyone else.

Though Ican't get inside his head, but did I come close?
