(106,561 posts)79. OK, we'll do some maths and percentages
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2020_United_States_presidential_election
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2024_United_States_presidential_election
In 2020, President Biden got 306 electoral college votes - 37 more than 269, the 50% point of the college. The states that put him over the top and were closest in percentage terms were:
Georgia: 49.47% - 49.24% = 0.23% difference (16 EC votes)
Arizona: 49.36% - 49.06% = 0.3% difference (11 EC votes) (0.31% in the far right Wikipedia column - rounding differences)
Wisconsin: 49.45% - 48.82% = 0.63% difference (10 EC votes)
In 2024, Trump got 312 EC votes. The states that put him over the top and were closest in percentage terms were:
Wisconsin: 49.6% - 48.74% = 0.86% (10 EC votes)
Michigan: 49.73% - 48.31% = 1.42% (15 EC votes)
Pennsylvania: 50.37% - 48.66% = 1.71% (19 EC votes)
So the crucial states in 2024 varied a fair bit. You mention winning all seven swing states, so I presume you're also including
Georgia: 2.19% difference
Nevada: 3.1% difference
North Carolina: 3.21% difference
Arizona: 5.53% difference
(the next 4 states in 2020 were differences of 1.16%, 2.39%, 2.78% and 7.12% (7.11% in far right column), for comparison)
5.53% is not "about the same" as 0.86%. Trump's margins in the crucial states were a little larger than President Biden's.
What do the people good with mathematics say about the difference between 2020 and 2024? I hope they had an argument, rather than just "feeling".

Not just loot to be stolen, but MANY people knew Trump had to win or some of them would end up in prison

You have it backwards, easier to rig a few states when everyone is voting at once

At the time, I suspected she was doing what the strategists told them to do.

17 Counties in Pennsylvania had precincts that had more votes than registered voters.

It's official. You election deniers here are now spouting the exact same conspiracy theories that Trump supporters did

Theil and Epstein worked to screw Hillary in 2016. She like Harris 2024 got a big # of "undervotes."

Musk somehow had the election results four hours before they were posted (mentioned on the Joe Rogan show).
