In reply to the discussion: Hi DU friends [View all]marble falls
(72,266 posts)90. I've had BCG, tumorectomies and finally a complete bladder removal. Chemo and radiation was considered ...
... ineffective for my cancer. I also had colon cancer two years before with a partial colon removal. Been cancer free since 2019.
It's not easy, but it can be tolerated. I was looking for the light at the end of the tunnel and it does show up. I chose the radical surgery because the BCG and tumor removals were not working and chemo and radiation weren't going to work. I have NO regrets.
All I can suggest is committing to the regimen you choose and riding it out. There are a bunch of us survivors here on DU. Reach out to me whenever you want.
I'll message my phone number to you.
