MILLIONS of Americans do not have birth certificates, even if born here. So this isn't just targeting immigrants but MILLIONS of others too - just like their asinine poll tax schemes to keep women and people of color and the poor from voting EVEN WHEN THEY ARE CITIZENS.

And what of WOMEN who married and changed their names - and their birth certificate (if they can even find it) doesn't match THE NAME ON THEIR BANK ACCOUNT? Are they simply disallowed from having bank accounts? Likely so, it would seem. This is the Republican Taliban shoving WOMEN not only out of the franchise (voting) but also out of the banking system to further reduce or eliminate their financial independence. Because we know the RT DESPISES women who have voting rights, financial independence, bodily autonomy, or their own opinions, minds, and choices about anything in their lives at all.
