Not his exact wording perhaps, but 'no evidence' often means no evidence exists that might backfire on me if I don't ignore it.
No evidence in the Epstein documents though? Hard to believe.

We aren't going to do anything because I know the names and some are powerful.

It would be occupational suicide for me to delve into that swamp, so let bygones be bygones, OK?

Besides, I need this job and the income.
