Like some dim bulb dreamed it up, and he went through with it. Otherwise good Lord no way he wants to stand next to gig workers.

But good for her - I forget exactly how she answered when he asked if she had voted for him. "Maybe...?" is what I recall.

In other words, if so, not enthusiastically.

Probably trying to make sure she'd get a decent tip.
