Thursday

What if, I fantasized, a unanimous consent vote was simply verbal. Speaker Johnson, unexpectedly growing a spine, pretends the voice vote passes. And just like that, Trumps power to illegally wage war is constrained. The nation is saved and I can sleep through the night again without waking enraged about how Trump and Republicans have ruined this once great nation.
