Sad, but true. The reality is there will be one-issue voters and the like who will never vote for democrats. The only way for democrats to appeal to this voting block is for democrats to run as republicans, take that stupid party over, destroy it once and for all, wait until all of the unserious voters die of old age, then for those elected republican democrats can change party affiliation back to democrat once sanity has been restored to how people vote.
