state the obvious, what we are doing in Iran are atrocities and war crimes.

Iran currently ranks 140th out of 177 nations for women's inclusion, justice, and security. Women are NOT treated as autonomous beings under the religious fundamentalist government of Iran. Religious fundamentalism affects the daily lives of women in Iran through norms and more importantly, laws meant to repress and control all females according to the leader’s interpretation of their religion.

The system they live under is grotesque, and we are making it worse.
