"L. Ron Hubbard was asked at a science fiction convention about making money as a SciFi writer and his response was “You don't get rich writing science fiction. If you want to get rich, you start a religion.” Reddit. I've heard this quote many times from sources that investigate this cult, and those that who were close to Hubbard. Googling it this AM, gave me the quote from Reddit. Cult experts, Dr. Steven Hassan and Chris Shelton are also two good sources for cult and this quote. Dr. Hassan wrote a good book titled The Cult of Trump.
