Yesterday

they were looking for the downed pilot. They knew then they needed a way to pull out that would let Trump save face. So the plan was to bluster and pound his chest and imply that he might nuke Iran and then secretly cave to Iran at the last minute and get them to open the Strait. That way Trump can pretend he was brilliant. But now he’s flailing over the news leak from Iran because it pulled his pants down right when he was supposed to be taking his victory lap.
