Given the source, the leap from idiotic bluster to nuclear annihilation is too great for me.
The simplest explanation is that Trump is just a flailing idiot who got blindsided by the great lack of approval of his misadventure in Iran.
He HAS to find a solution (a way out) but there was never a plan, no contingency if it wasn't instant, no consideration of economic impact, and no thought as to how Americans would perceive it.
Back to throwing stuff against a wall & seeing what sticks. The opposite of leadership.
