It's never too early to plan your last words.

Recent events have brought epitaphs to mind. I am not sure "oops" or "shit" would fully capture my essence.

If things go really bad there may not be anyone to hear or remember whatever pearls of wisdom I end up spitting out.

But that has always been a possibility.

Neither of my parents exited life with a witty saying. Is that one of life's purposes anyway?

As I stare at the doomsday clock ticking down, a lot of the promises and rules of the world seem less important than originally proposed.

I have joined few groups and have shortly left those I did.

My rules were don't lie, don't promise what you can't deliver, and don't hurt people.

The first and third rules frequently conflicted.

I guess that will have to do.
