6. A non-zero chance. I guessed the odds might be as high as 5% earlier this morning.

Since the day he was elected, my operating model of his actions has been that he would be doing many things that would weaken the United States. He is a giant wrecking ball.
There is nothing worse that he could do to the US than use a nuke on a country that has not provoked us.
The US would be an instant worldwide pariah, universally hated by all right-thinking people. Both the treasury and the stock market would collapse as plenty of foreign money pulls back from US investments.
Then there is the chance that it could trigger retaliation against the US from another nuclear power.

The grotesque immorality of such an act would be condemned, an ugly epitaph.

Although it seems unlikely, ask yourself how would Putin view such a moment. Vindication, revenge, opportunity? Humiliation of his enemy. Ask yourself if Trump is weak-minded enough to be talked into anything, by being told lies — you’ll go down in history as the man who was brave enough to do what no one else would do.

Going to call my senators to request immediate impeachment proceedings and pressure on the cabinet or public unity condemning these statements.
