The people who enable him must not care if the world implodes around them. I have always believed they were only pretending to be religious zealots to fleece the Magat cult members too dumb to know their being conned. Maybe, however, they actually do believe that the rapture is coming.

I do believe in God, and I don't believe the Pope is infallible, but l by far trust Pope Leo's interpretation of what Jesus wants from his followers than some two bit con artists' version. I am almost certain that the God I was taught about, isn't going to side with those who have or are breaking multiple commandments, especially the ones, that says "thou shalt not kill," and not to put false God's before him.
