Trump Derangement Syndrome [View all]

* Not found in the annals of recognized mental conditions

* Logical fallacy whereby a relevant issue has been raised and re-directed to an imagined mental deficit. Relevant issue is now ignored and no longer addressed.

* Reminds me of our malignantly narcissistic father going senile. He shouldn't have been allowed to continue driving. But the arguments were re-directed to our supposed retribution against him for all the times he "yelled" at us in our youth. And Dad got into a plethora of fender-benders until he finally rear-ended a van at a gas station. His chest hit the steering column (no air bag), causing a partial detachment of his aorta, which caused his death. Our concerns were legitimate but not addressed.
