As for whether he is "dying' -- well, he's almost 80, but folks have been predicting his imminent demise for a long time. I don't see his posture in that photo as evidencing anything particularly serious. I've known many older people who became increasinlgly "hunched over" in their late 70s and 80s and lived like that into their 90s.
