First, Trump probably didn't write a word of that. One of his online ghostwriters almost certainly did. Whoever has posting privileges to that particular account (and I'm sure there are several).

Second, Trump clearly hasn't been posting *anything else* today either. That may be because he's incapacitated (which I don't actually believe). But, more likely, I suspect it's because nobody was going to let him anywhere near a "send" button while a critical rescue operation was ongoing. There's just no way in hell he could have been trusted to maintain operational security, and his lack of filter and lack of impulse control would almost certainly jeopardize that ongoing operation. And that, I think, is by far the most likely explanation here.

Or, third option: maybe the universe just decided to randomly shut him up for the duration of the rescue mission, and spare all our ears of his blather. But, yeah, it's probably not that one.
