On edit: BBC reporting the airman has been rescued.

It’s not a sudden health crisis, just the same old physical/mental deterioration.

What makes it a crisis, however, is that Iran has captured the missing US airman.

Now I want to state unequivocally that my heart goes out to this airman and to all our service members who have been put into a totally untenable situation by a madman in the White House and the completely gutless, spineless collection of worthless nobodies that is the Republican caucus in Congress.

The White House is in crisis mode trying to figure out how to handle this mess politically and, more importantly, how to constrain Trump who wants to deliver an ultimatum to Iran: release the airman or we nuke Tehran.

That’s it. Trump wants to nuke Tehran. His staff can’t let him go in front of cameras or talk to any reporters because he will blurt it out the first chance he gets.

That’s why he’s incommunicado.

Again, just speculation, but at this point not far fetched by any means.
